When I
think about a specific career related website https://www.unicef.org/es/
comes to my mind. But first, I’m going to let you know about it. “UNICEF works in over 190 countries and
territories to save children’s lives, to defend their rights, and to help them
fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. And we never give up.” (UNICEF, 2019) Nowadays, UNICEF is
working hard in Siria (always bearing in mind the global’s needs), providing
them food, drinkable water, education and health.
In 2018 I
had the opportunity to be a volunteer at UNICEF so I discovered the website. I
like this website because it has researches and reports, provides the chance to
become a donor or a volunteer, stories and features and some videos, but the
thing that I like the most is the opportunity to get involved with the stories
and videos, helping to raise awareness about the value of nurturing children’s
right to be safeguarded.
So I
encourage you guys to go into this website and to look for these stories. I
promise it’ll help all of you to be made more aware of your responsibilities
and roles in the society.
